How much does a pest control website cost in 2026?

By Saad, Saasup Updated 4 October 2026 7 min read

A pest control website costs anywhere from about $16 a month on a DIY website builder to $24,000 or more from a specialist agency. Most professionally designed pest control websites land between $3,500 and $9,500. Ours is $1,500 USD, once, and you pay only after you approve your landing page.

The price matters less than three things: what's included, who owns the website when you're done, and whether it gets the phone to ring.

Is a DIY website builder enough for a pest control company?

A website builder is the cheapest way to get online: Wix plans run $17 to $39 a month and Squarespace $16 to $39 for the plans most small businesses need, billed yearly. What it costs you is time. You pick the template, write every page, take the photos and work out how to make the phone number show on a phone.

That can work when you're starting out with a handful of jobs a week. It stops working when you're busy. A builder won't tell you which pests to write pages for, where reviews should sit, or why homeowners in the next town can't tell whether you come to them. That's when a website built on a builder tends to sit untouched for years.

What do you get for $500 to $2,000?

At this price you usually get a template with your logo, colours and five to ten pages. One well-known contractor package is $1,999 for up to 10 pages with a year of hosting, paid 100% upfront, delivered in 10 to 20 business days.

That can be good value. The questions to ask before you pay: who writes the words, do you get a page for each pest or one "services" page, does the phone number stay on screen on a phone, and what happens if you don't like it after you've paid. Paying everything upfront means the risk sits with you.

What do you get for $3,500 to $24,000?

Most professionally designed pest control websites cost $3,500 to $9,500. At that level you should get a website designed around your business, with separate service pages and help with the words.

Specialist home-services agencies charge more. Hook Agency publishes $12,000 for a standard website built in 4 to 6 weeks and $24,000 for a fully custom one that takes about 100 days. For that you get custom design, custom copy, deeper SEO work and strategy. For a large, multi-location pest control company, that can be worth it. For an owner-operator with a few trucks, it's often more website than the business needs right now.

What about websites that come with a monthly marketing plan?

Some marketing companies include a website with an SEO or advertising plan, often $1,500 a month or more. The website isn't the product; the monthly plan is.

Two things to check before you sign. First, the contract length: 12 months is common. Second, ownership: with some providers, the website only becomes yours after the contract ends, and if you leave early, you leave without it. If you only need a better website, you don't need a monthly plan to get one.

What hidden costs should you budget for?

  • Hosting and domain. $10 to $40 a month for hosting on most plans, $15 to $25 a year for the domain. Some packages include the first year.
  • Photos. Stock photos of generic technicians don't build trust. Photos of your own trucks and team do, and a phone camera in good light is enough.
  • Words. If the price doesn't include copywriting, you're writing every pest page yourself.
  • Changes. Ask how many rounds of changes are included and what a change costs after launch.
  • Lead software. Sending leads to PestPac, FieldRoutes, GorillaDesk or Jobber can need a setup fee from the software company.
  • Your time. Every option needs some: facts, photos, approvals. Ask how much before you start.

How do you know if a pest control website is worth the money?

Work backwards from calls. One 2026 pricing guide puts an exclusive pest control lead at $45 to $150 depending on the market and season. If a clearer website wins you even a few extra calls a month that you'd otherwise lose to the next company, it pays for itself quickly, then keeps working without a per-lead fee.

No one can promise how many calls a website will bring, so be wary of anyone who does. What you can judge before you buy: does the website name the pests you treat, show the towns you serve, put your reviews near the call button, and let someone call you in one tap from their phone?

FAQs

Straight answers
on website pricing.

How much should a small pest control company spend on a website?

For an owner-operated pest control company, $1,500 to $9,500 covers most good options, depending on how much of the writing and design you want done for you. Spending more makes sense when you run several locations or want ongoing strategy.

Is it cheaper to build a pest control website myself?

On price, yes: $16 to $39 a month on a builder. On time, no. Expect 20 to 40 hours to plan, write and set up a website with separate pest pages, and more to keep it current.

Do I have to pay for a pest control website upfront?

Most designers ask for a deposit or full payment before they start. With Saasup, you pay only after you've seen and approved your landing page.

How long does a pest control website take to build?

Template packages take 2 to 4 weeks, agency websites 4 weeks to about 100 days. We put your landing page at a live preview link within 10 days, then add the other pages on a schedule we agree in writing.
